1.PREPARE YOUR TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE BEFORE TRANSPORT
- The tank: the vehicle's fuel must be at the minimum level.
- Your motorbike must be rollable.
- Alarms must be disabled.
- Anti-theft: the handlebars and wheels must not be locked.
- The keys and papers (registration certificate/document) of your motorbike must not be left with the driver or at the drop-off location.
- Panniers/suitcases and top cases must be transported separately as accessory packages (to be declared when ordering)
Note : packaging is not provided by MOTObyCAT and the maximum size is 80x80x100cm per package, which must not exceed 10 kg in weight.
2. PICK-UP OR DROP-OFF
Pick-up at home address
MOTObyCAT carries out pick-ups and drop-offs from Tuesday to Friday (mornings only, and between 07:30 and 12:00 for pick-ups).
The day before the pick-upyou will be contacted by the CAT centre to confirm the pick-up scheduled on the following day.
If your vehicle arrives on a Friday, you will be contacted the following Tuesday.
On the day of the pick-up, you will fill out a handover assessment for your motorbike (an inventory for it before it is transported) with the MOTObyCAT professional who comes to your address*.
*You must ensure that the pick-up location is accessible to all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (7T and 10T).
Drop-off at a CAT centre or collection point
When dropping your motorbike off, you must respect the 48-hour time-frame (the period corresponding with the confirmation of the order).
Drop-offs can only be carried out between Tuesday and Friday during the hours shown on the information sheet of the collection point or CAT center selected when the order was placed.
On the day of the drop-off, you will fill out a handover assessment for your motorbike (an inventory for it before it is transported) with the MOTObyCAT who welcomes you to the CAT centre or collection point.
3. DELIVERY OR COLLECTION
Home delivery
The day before the delivery, the MOTObyCAT logistics centre will contact you to schedule for the next day.
On the day of the deliverya CAT lorry will arrive at the address provided to deliver your motorbike*.
MOTObyCAT carries out deliveries from Tuesday to Friday, mornings only (between 07:30 and 12:00).
*You must ensure that the pick-up location is accessible to all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (7T and 10T).
Collection from a MOTObyCAT branch
If you have chosen to collect your motorbike at a branch or collection point, you will be contacted as soon as it arrives to collect it.
(If you have authorised someone to collect your motorbike on your behalf, this person must come with the order confirmation and proof of identity).
